The mireclops family is a family of creatures that resemble living chunks of earth.

Members

Fandangled Isleclops

Main article: Fandangled Isleclops

The Fandangled Isleclops is a small, tropical continentia that isn't much larger than a typical dwarf bulborb. Unlike other members of its family, the Fandangled Isleclops is always found awake and moving around, typically spiraling in circles with others of its kind, moving in a circular formation. A Fandangled Isleclops has sand and grass covering its body, and its head is a brilliant color of yellow.

Frosted Arcticlops

Main article: Frosted Arcticlops

The Frosted Arcticlops prefers frigid environments. Its gray, fleshy hooves are protected by a layer of ice, which must be shattered using Rock Pikmin. Its purple head is also protected by a large mound of ice. The snow and ice on its body can chill and eventually freeze leaders and Pikmin that touch it for extended periods of time.

Quaggled Mireclops

Main article: Quaggled Mireclops

The Quaggled Mireclops is a gargantuan member of the continentia family. They inhabit locations that are rich in mud, and their vulnerable, fruit-like head is often protected by what is called a Mireclops crystal, which makes Rock Pikmin essential for a fight against it.

Ridge Mounticlops

Main article: Ridge Mounticlops

The Ridge Mounticlops is found at the tops of mountains. It is large even for Continentia. It is quite tall, and has a spiraling path up to it's bulb, which is teal at the bottom and more mintish at the top, with a gradient in the middle. It's path occasionally has small divots in the wall, similar to the path to get the zest bomb from the Distant Tundra in Pikmin 3, but less extreme. It protects itself with icy walls and a tongue that it can not only rotate 720 degrees, but 1080 degrees in an upwards spiral from the bottom of the spiral path leading from the base of it up to it's bulb, which is covered in both Ice and Crystal. The foliage on its bulb is dark bluish teal.

Waterlogged Bayouclops

Main article: Waterlogged Bayouclops

The Waterlogged Bayouclops prefers to live in flooded, marsh-like environments. It bears a striking resemblance to the Quaggled Mireclops in size and appearance, but it has an overall darker, duller coloration as well as a blue head. A Waterlogged Bayouclops must usually be fought using a Pikmin type that can somehow navigate around bodies of water, such as Blue Pikmin or Winged Pikmin.
