The Waterlogged Bayouclops is a relative of the Quaggled Mireclops that is most commonly fought in flooded areas that can only be accessed by either Pikmin that are immune to water, such as Blue Pikmin, or are capable of flight, such as Winged Pikmin. It has an appearance similar to that of the Quaggled Mireclops, but is significantly cleaner and has some aquatic reeds growing on its top surface, and its bulb is blue and high above the body. The swamps in which they reside are populated by many Puckering Blinnows and other aquatic lifeforms that can snatch plenty of Pikmin. The Waterlogged Bayouclops does not possess a crystal and can not develop one.

After it has been awoken, the Waterlogged Bayouclops attacks by stomping around its arena just like the Quaggled Mireclops, but each stomp of its feet sends out a wave of water in all directions. Each of its fleshy hooves can be attacked to make the boss fall to the ground, but are usually, at least partially, submerged in water. When the boss collapses or drops to the ground, it causes a tidal wave to rush to the edges of its arena. This wave can easily push away Pikmin and leaders and enemies with incredible force. Its mouth contains a colorful tongue that splashes water all over the place. Once its health has been reduced to half, it may periodically flop around by repeatedly dropping to the ground whilst moving forwards. This can be a devastating attack that has the power to quickly decrease Pikmin populations but is made even more dangerous by the immense waves this attack creates. As mentioned before, these waves can push leaders, Pikmin, and even other enemies in random directions as the waves ripple across the water.

When the Waterlogged Bayouclops finally dies, its bulb falls to the ground, which can then be picked up and carried by Pikmin. Its body becomes a permanent part of the landscape and is able to act as a garden that contains vegetation such as Pellet Posies and harmless enemies such as spectralids.
