The Bubbling Blowhog is an airborne blowhog appearing in Pikmin 251. It is a close relative of the Puffy Blowhog that blows water vapor onto Pikmin, which collects on their stems and causes them to start drowning. Overall, it is similar to the Watery Blowhog but instead of spewing a liquid, the Bubbling Blowhog blows water vapor.

Being a close relative of the Puffy Blowhog, the Bubbling Blowhog is large and shares many of its physical features. Bands of color, alternating between green and baby blue, run along the length of its body. Its eyelids are magenta, and its eyes are blue with black pupils. On its rear, towards its back, are sharp spikes. They do not hurt Pikmin and only serve to enhance the creature's aesthetic appeal.

A Bubbling Blowhog can be taken down as easily as a Puffy Blowhog, but its water-based breath attack may endanger the lives of all but Blue Pikmin. When pitted against Blue Pikmin, Bubbling Blowhogs are completely harmless as they cannot blow Pikmin away.

The Bubbling Blowhog is a species of aerial blowhog appearing in Pikmin Evolution. The creature resembles a Withering Blowhog but has deep blue skin with turquoise accents, and a layer of foam underneath its trunk that makes it look like it has a stubble beard. The Bubbling Blowhog mainly lives in the tropics, where there is an equal amount of coolness and heat, though it prefers to live around beaches. It sprays a slightly soapy water, just like the Watery and Leviathan Blowhogs, though since it attacks at a downward angle, the ground will become damp; this forms a temporary puddle on solid land, creating areas only Kelp Pikmin can safely traverse, but turns looser terrain like sand to mud, making traversal slower and more awkward. True to its name, the Bubbling Blowhog can also create bubbles when it sprays seawater with its liquid breath, making the water foam and bubbles rise from the surface. Additionally, any magma it sprays will be cooled to stone, allowing passage across, which also serves as a puzzle element. Of the three aerial blowhogs with elemental effects, this one causes the most varied and drastic environmental changes.

The Bubbling Blowhog is not a challenge to take down; just remember that the foam under its body acts as armor, absorbing 75% of the damage dealt in that area. Kelp Pikmin are effective against all aerial blowhogs, able to instantly ground them, but the Bubbling Blowhog especially due to the Kelp Pikmin's water resistance. If Kelp Pikmin are not available, tossing an icy syrup may be the best course of action, as that causes them to spew harmless foam, making them defenseless. Overall, like the other 2 aerial blowhogs with hazard capabilities, this is not a difficult enemy to take down, but the abilities it has make it quite a tricky foe to face in certain environments.

The Bubbling Blowhog is a returning species of blowhog in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. The creature looks like a regular Puffy Blowhog. However, it has turquoise skin, and large, green stripes cover its skin. Most noticeably, the Bubbling Blowhog does not have spikes on its body; they are replaced instead by a massive foam of bubbles that sometimes separate and float around the creature. They can even leave a bubble trail wherever the creature floats. The Bubbling Blowhog will float around until it sees Pikmin, at which point it will pursue them. Once it manages to get in position, it will inhale and spew out a massive pool of water onto the group, immediately choking up to 100 non-Blue Pikmin. Cactus Pikmin can benefit from the water spit out. With all blowhogs, a single Dart Pikmin will do massive damage and cause the creature to start gradually losing health in the form of air. This makes Blue Pikmin the best type to deal with the Bubbling Blowhog. However, when it falls down, it will try to shake off Pikmin after 4 seconds, causing bubbles to fall off of it and trap Pikmin. When it dies, it leaves a very small, deflated corpse.
