The starting point of this sublevel is an elevated plateau of dirt right above the Spherical Atlas. Kill the Dwarf Forest Bulborb, and then convert [[Red Pikmin]] into [[Purple Pikmin]]. Once the Spherical Atlas is collected and the cave is exited, Awakening Arctic becomes available to visit. This sublevel contains a unique visual theme consisting of dark green terrain with roots sprouting out of the side of the walls. | |||

Bamboo Garden is one of the first caves encountered in Pikmin 2: New Year, found in the Jungle of Repose. Purple Pikmin are discovered here, and there are 
× 500 worth of treasures, with the Spherical Atlas being the main one.
