The '''Sproil''' is a tiny creature in ''[[Pikmin X: Deep Freeze]]'' that creates an [[Lubricant|oily]] [[bubble]] around itself for protection. They are easily defeated by [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]], so they will gather together to amass into clusters of many Sproils surrounded by a single large bubble. With the tables sufficiently turned, the Sproil colony will set about trying to engulf Pikmin in their slippery shield by bouncing around the area. However, well-timed Pikmin throws will eventually break the Sproil into two smaller, weaker Sproils, which can then be further split into individual Sproils completely separated from each other. A lone Sproil dies in one hit and leaves a carcass that is not worth much, although the combined worth of the entire colony equates to eight Pikmin seeds.
