The Patchy Sheargrub is a mandiblard that evolved to display bright colors and markings that resemble fabric patches and stitching. Its only eye resembles a red button, and what resembles cotton stuffing is visible protruding from certain parts of its body. As Patchy Sheargrubs move, they emit a snipping noise that is reminiscent of the sound a pair of scissors makes while using them. They are the first enemy that is encountered in Pikmin 4 (Salem version).
