When provoked, the Jewelbomb will detonate the bomb rock, causing black slime to coat the surrounding area. Jewelbombs appear in Pikmin X: Deep Freeze. It has two legs, and a grasping tail that it uses to roll bomb rocks towards Pikmin like bowling balls, which are able to knock Pikmin over as they move. Because the creature can not generate bombs of its own, it intercepts bomb rocks placed or thrown by Pikmin to send back at them; otherwise, it can use its tail to stab Pikmin that come too close and can eat up to three of them at a time.
