Chompis are small, purple, barracuda-like members of the elips family. They can quickly devour Pikmin, and if one happens to catch a leaders in its mouth and begin chewing them, the Chompi will spit them back out alongside any Pikmin currently in its mouth.

Floundering Crass

Main article: Floundering Crass

The Floundering Crass is a bass-like creature with a green body and a brown underbelly. When a group of Pikmin are traveling on land around a pool that a Floundering Crass is inhabiting, the Floundering Crass will either spit large balls of water onto the group or jump out of the water and begin flopping around on the ground, planting any Pikmin caught underneath it. In the water, it will begin to stalk the group of Pikmin in a similar fashion similar to that of a Spotty Bulbear and it will eat one to five Pikmin at a time.

The Puckering Blinnow is a small, colorful fish enemy. It has two large yellow eyes with purple irises, which are each nearly as big as its head. It is light blue with dark blue stripes on its top and spots on its sides and has a green fin spreading from its bottom to its back. It has a long snout, which, when viewed from the front, makes the enemy appear as if it is puckering, hence the name. It is about three times the width and half of the height of a leader, having a quite narrow appearance. Some Puckering Blinnows have spiky teeth lining their gums.
