The Crystal Pikmin is not actually a type of Pikmin, but is what the main character becomes in Pikmin: Redemption after they get all of the Pikmin powers. It is gained by finding he Morphing Candypop Bud and jumping into it. It is a clear, crystalline Pikmin with a green leaf or white petals on its bud or flower. If light were to shine on a Crystal Pikmin, all the other colors of the rainbow, or in this case, the colors of the Pikmin in Pikmin: Redemption, would shine from the other side. As special as the Crystal Pikmin appears, it has no outstanding abilities outside of using its flower to blind enemies temporarily or activate certain switches. As Pikmin types can still be switched between, there is no need to worry about not being able to go back.
