These are small enemies in The game Pikmin: New World. They are actually Creeping Chrysanthemums in their larval stage. They appear to be the dead bulbs of Creeping Crysanthemums lying on the ground, but coming close to them will result in them hopping up and revealing their true identities. The creature itself looks alot like a crysanthemum bulb except it has five legs on its bottom. It will scuttle towards your pikmin group and immediately begin devouring pikmin with the mouth on its bulb. However, they will flee from the captains and are very fast runners. This makes them difficult to attack. They are nearly impossible to swarm, because their legs hold them off the ground like a dweevil's. Instead, rapidly toss pikmin into its sides or bottom, as throwing onto the top will result in the pikmin being eaten. The perfect time to attack is when it is fleeing as they are completely off guard at the time and their defense is extremely minimal. Purples, reds, or olives are the three recomended types for beating this relatively easy enemy.

Olimar's Notes

Species: Taraxacum bambinii

Family: Chrysanthemums

" At some point in the fall, the carnivorous bulb on the creeping crysanthemum's stalk is shed and the plant withers up and dies. However, close examination shows that this nutricious bulb contains all of the genetic information to create an entirely new crysanthemum plant. It will lay dormant on the ground until the soil is fertile enough for it to grow in. If the soil never approaches the desired level of fertility, the bulb will resort to using its remaining nutrients to hunt along the ground for food. By late spring, each and every one of these creatures will have grown into the next generation of immobile creeping crysanthemums."

Louie's Notes

" Simply remove the spines and slice the large, fatty bulb into rings. Deep-fry in batter and then serve on top of a hamburger with onions, tomatos, lettuce and mayonaise. After eating this meal you'll never order onion rings with your burger ever again!

Sagittarius's Notes

"Unsuitable for a potted houseplant, it will move about the household if its soil is not properly fertilized. Though it will eat most household pests such as flies or mice, it will kill almost all of the other plants inside the house with its blind groping for food. Also, if kept for too long, it will turn into the vicious creeping crysanthemum! Be sure to plant this creature outside and treat with caution."

Libra's Notes

" This truly amazing shade of red is the dream of every fashion designer. However, its composition makes it very hard to transform into any type of clothing, so it will remain just a dream forever."
