Bernard is a member of the Rescue Corps, serving as the pilot of the S.S. Shepherd. He has an oval-shaped head, slicked-back spiked purple hair with three points, pointy ears, dark skin, and sunglasses completely obscuring his eyes. He is the only member of the Rescue Corps not found in a normal way, as he is actually found as a purple leafling. His original job before joining the rescue corps was a delivery man.
