Acidic Dirigibugs are a type of Dirigibug that uses highly acidic energy balls to attack instead of bombs. It is green like the Careening Dirigibug, but it has purple eyes and blue balloons. An energy ball, when dropped, will explode causing smaller energy balls to scatter, instantly killing Pikmin except for Green Pikmin.

The only way to kill this beast is by throwing Green Pikmin, as no other type will work.
