Lubricant, and Slippery Surfaces in general, are hazards appearing in fan-made Pikmin games. They come in many forms, the most common being Oil, but slippery Ice, shallow running water going in the downward direction, and soapy items are other forms Slippery objects appear in. Some enemies are also covered in Lubricant. Most Pikmin types that touch Lubricant, with the exception of Green Pikmin or another similar Pikmin type, usually Black Pikmin, will slip and fall, possibly continuing to slip. Any such Pikmin also repeatedly fail to get up or get up and slip again, repeating this process until rescued by another Pikmin that does have such an ability as to not slip and fall.
