Attacks Takes objects

The Vulture Snitchbug is a new creature discovered in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. It is covered in grayish-green feathers and sports yellow antennae to fly, yellow limbs, and two large red eyes. Being a relative of the Swooping Snitchbug, this creature will instead swoop down and steal whatever a Pikmin is holding. This may range from treasures, to corpses, to even berries or pellets. When a Vulture Snitchbug steals an object, all Pikmin are flung off of it. If Pikmin weigh the insect down successfully, it will fall to the ground and release the object. A Vulture Snitchbug will continue to hold onto any object until a captain attacks it with Pikmin. Iguana Pikmin can be used to attack this creature from afar and weigh them down.

Notes

Olimar's notes

This particularly annoying species of scarpanid tends to steal any food from the kills of larger creatures like bulborbs; or even the Pikmin. Once successful, this insect will bring its meal back to its den, which is located in the trees, and constructed out of mud. Interestingly, Vulture Snitchbugs seem to have a fondness for collecting shiny objects, which includes our treasures. I guess it has more things in common with my wife than I thought...

Louie's notes

Make sure to pluck all of the feathers of this insect before you skewer it with its own caught meals to create a variety of different kebabs!

President’s notes

This bug knows what’s up! It’s ready to snatch up anything at a moment's notice to further its goals! Perhaps I could hire a few of these guys to recruit loot for me! My feet have been getting sore after all this walking around...
