Attacks Splashes Pikmin with water

The Tremoring Wogpole is an amphituber appearing in Pikmin: Elemental Speciation. They resemble wogpoles no matter their age, and have pale pink skin with vibration-sensing external gills resembling those of a real-world axolotl. Tremoring Wogpoles reside only within subterranean water bodies. When Pikmin or leaders are nearby, it will leap out of water towards them to splash them. It is slightly more likely to flail back into water than a regular wogpole when on land.

Notes

Olimar's notes

This species of wollywog (or should I say wogpole?) lives in deep, dark caves. To conserve nutrients, they stay in their wogpole stage for their entire lives. Their eyes have regressed into being very weak, and they mostly sense their surroundings with their vibration-sensitive feelers, which double as external gills.

Louie's notes

Dice the meat into pieces as small as possible and stew in a simple broth for a refreshing soup. Garnish with its dried feelers for a more elaborate feel.

Shacho's notes

If we put some research into the mechanism that allows it to sense vibrations so well, we could develop sensory aids for the blind.
