The Toadpole is a fossidile that appears in Pikmin: New Frontiers. It can be found in the areas Mesmerizing Marsh, Verdant Tropics, and Toppled Kingdom, as well as caves in those areas and the cave Forgotten Mine. They behave similarly to Wolpoles and can be found swimming in pools of water. Unlike their completely ineffectual amphituber counterparts, they can knock leaders down by hitting them with their tail if they get too close, and this same attack can knock down and deflower Pikmin. If Wolpoles are present in the same body of water as Toadpoles, Toadpoles will pursue them and attempt to push them onto land.
