The Skitter Bomb is a new enemy found in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. The creature, at first, resembles a mere bomb rock, but when approached, will reveal its two red eyes and four flat black legs. The creature will scamper around quickly afterward in a panic. If it touches any entity, it will instantly prime itself, eventually exploding after some seconds. This can be extremely dangerous if one runs into the middle of a squad, but can be taken advantage of to injure a larger enemy or wipe out a group of smaller enemies. Punching a Skitter Bomb will also prime it.

Skitter Bombs are skitterlings in Pikspore that disguise themselves as bomb rocks. This is a clever ruse, but with a certain upgrade, leaders can pick them up and throw them. Other than that, they're the same as standard Skitter Leaves, only with more vitality.
