In Pikmin: The Winds of Light, Royal Bulborbs are Purple Bulborbs each wearing a crown behind their eyestalks. They are located in a cave known as the Royal Wraith's Palace, where they are pets of the Royal Wraith. On sublevel one, two Royal Bulborbs sleep on both sides of its passageway. On sublevel three, several Royal Bulborbs are fought in the arena: four appear during round one, two appear during round two, ten appear in round four, and two appear in round five. Royal Bulborbs can be fought as if they were normal bulborbs, but the crown on its body can impale thrown Pikmin.
