The Puffmin Grunt appears in Pikmin 8: Puffmin Wars as one of the major forces in the Puffmin army. They use nets to capture Pikmin and hold them in captivity as they continue patrolling the area. Puffmin Grunts look like standard Mushroom Pikmin, but wear red boots and a red scarf, and hold a net made of twigs and dental floss.
