Pikmin Ultra is a Pikmin fanfiction created by Inksnatcher. It is about Olimar's vacation on PNF-404 with his son and daughter gone wrong.
Prologue: Olimar's Legacy
This is the story of Olly, the intrepid son of Olimar, and Olly's sister, Olivia, as they go on vacation with their dad to an undocumented planet that Olimar calls PNF-404. As they enter the planet's atmosphere, a burst of energy causes them to crashland. Olimar is flung toward a strange structure that is strangely metallic, Olivia flies toward an island, and Olly is thrown toward a flower field, landing in the crater that was made when Olimar first crashlanded on the planet. Thanks to Olimar, the Pikmin created Pikmin Valley, but a strange force of metal bulborbs destroyed the place, leaving only one treehouse, a Red Onion, and... a strange gold puddle?
Meanwhile, the Koppaite trio, Alph, Brittany, and Charlie, explore the planet, on another mission.
Chapter 1: Isle of Hope
Olly wakes up in a field of flowers. As he looks around, he sees a giant Red Onion.
He thought to himself, "Wait... Am I dreaming? Why is there a-- WHY AM I IN A SPACE SU-- Oh, I'm not dreaming... I'M NOT DREAMING!"
As Olly's mind raced, a seed pops out of the Onion, and he remembers his dad's stories about the Pikmin. He plucks the seed to meet the Red Pikmin, but then a strange thing happens: the Pikmin leads him to the treehouse, which, inside, has a special Pikmin, the Air Pikmin. It produces breathable air but has no method of attack or defense. The Red Pikmin then leads Olly to the golden puddle and stands on it as the Red Onion flies to the puddle and lands over it. Olly himself steps on the gold puddle, and the puddle engulfs him, the Red Pikmin, and the Onion, and flies out to the Isle of Hope. After the puddle descends to the ground and returns to its original form, the tutorial happens. Olly can't leave the planet, as he has no ship, but has an indefinite life support system.
After a few days, Olly finds his sister captured by the Queen Bulborb. It spews fire at Olly initially but then resorts to attempting to crush him. Upon defeat, it explodes into goo that rapidly vanishes to reveal Olivia, the Rock Onion, and a jar full of the same gold goo that was used to reach the Isle of Hope in the first place.
Chapter 2: Destroyed Oak
After the Koppaites left the planet with Olimar in tow, Formidable Oak crumbled, becoming the Destroyed Oak, which Olly and Olivia travel to next. While exploring, the pair discovers the Koppaite explorers, who join them in defeating the metal dweevil residing in the area. It has crystal armor and burning flesh, requiring both Red Pikmin and Rock Pikmin to defeat, but can also project electric arcs. When it is defeated, it leaves its corpse, the Yellow Onion, and more gold goo, which is added to the puddle, which reveals itself to be the Plasm Wraith. As it turns out, the Plasm Wraith was previously under the control of another being, and the only bit of control it had was keeping it from killing Olimar. Now, it has full control over itself and is willing to help the leaders and their Pikmin.
