Moldmin appear in Pikmin: Other Frontier as Pikmin that have been infected by mold. They have olive-green skin covered in emerald green splotches, a clump of mold on the end of their stems, and the same body structure no matter the type of Pikmin they previously were. Moldmin are incredibly hostile to nearby leaders and healthy Pikmin, and because of this they often inadvertently purify themselves upon touching a Cleaner Pikmin, the only Pikmin type that is immune to mold and can clean it. Upon appearing or being converted, a Moldmin will die after two minutes have elapsed.
