The Megahorn is a boss in Pikmin: The Insect Gourmet. It sleeps until attacked, at which point it will begin to rapidly grab and consume Pikmin, as well as occasionally roar to cause panic in them. It will also attack, kill, and eat any Sirenheads in its vicinity, though their remains can be recovered after the Megahorn's defeat. Destroying the antenna atop the creature's head will permanently blind it, preventing it from being able to detect Pikmin again, as it is also deaf from the vocalizations it produces.
