Attacks Eats Pikmin, calls other Malted Bulborbs

The Malted Bulborb is a species of bulborb appearing in Pikmin: Spark. They are medium-sized bulborbs that live in deserts, prairies, and other less hospitable environments. They get their name from their brown, caramel-colored skin and light brown hide, which has dark brown spots. They, like the Spotty Bulbear, constantly patrol their territory and attack and eat any prey that comes near. However, due to their diminished size, they hunt in packs scattered around the entire area they appear in. While a lone Malted Bulborb is a dangerous predator, it can roar to summon its packmates to assist it in fighting a particularly strong foe. They have violent territorial disputes with bulbears, and a pack of Malted Bulborbs raiding a den can be a good indicator that a bulbear dwells within.

Notes

Abel's medical journal

I'm not experimenting with them. When I try to examine one, its packmates try to avenge their fallen comrade. I would be annoyed but I feel somewhat respected by these creatures.

Lyn's sale review

I can't sell these... They seem to care about each other and I can't bring myself to kill one for a pretty handbag.
