Attacks Creates magnetic fields between one another

The Magnet Beetle is a species of scarab beetle appearing in Pikmin: Spark. They are noted for a highly reflective and shiny silver shell with black spots and pink undersides. Like all scarab beetles, these creatures appear in large groups, although they tend to be more likely to coexist with other scarab beetles than with each other. They have a special organ used to emit magnetic energy that attracts Pikmin, and they create this field by linking it as a line between two members. After creating the field, it dissipates, causing the Pikmin attracted to become scattered, making them annoying to have around because they can separate Pikmin and throw an organized army into disarray. It is best to kill them before fighting other enemies.

Notes

Abel's medical journal

When dead, the creature loses its magnetic abilities, and the shell can be ground into dental fillings.
