Hacking is a meta hazard that often wildly affects gameplay in a variety of ways. Some of the most mundane forms of hacking are making an enemy invincible or instantly lethal.
Hacking may also regard the ability to break into technological devices, usually to compromise or override their functions.

Hacking is a hazard in Pikmin 18,000,000,011 that is used by Microstrategy. It acts as a magic spell that makes affected Pikmin and leaders obey the creature responsible for hacking them, and after 3 minutes or the creature is defeated, they will instantly perish and will return in a day or two.
