Attacks Eats Pikmin

The Death Spiked Dwarf Bulborb is a juvenile grub-dog in Pikmin: Attack of DeathSpike that has been mutated by a DeathSpike fragment and is found in a plethora of environments. Formerly a true Dwarf Red Bulborb, it has green skin, a purple snout and rump, green spots on its backside, and clusters of green spikes protruding from the spots and the back of the eyes. Although Spike Pikmin are most effective against it, any type of Pikmin can attack a Death Spiked Dwarf Bulborb without fear of being impaled by the spikes on its posterior as they instinctively attack the creature's soft underbelly.

Notes

Olimar's notes

This atrocious creature is hard to kill at first if you have no Spike Pikmin with you. Suffering from an amazing biological infection, the poor beasts have a way of shrieking when impaled by a DeathSpike fragment that attracts other dwarf bulborbs and inadvertently infects them. Therefore, the best strategy with these creatures is to kill them instantly, both ending their suffering from the painful infection and stopping them from calling others and lessening the chances of an epidemic of DeathSpiked Dwarf Bulborbs in the area. We may find a cure eventually, but this is the best we can do for now.

Louie's notes

Remove the spikes and put a thin layer of Mr. Olimar's Sauce on to have a delicious appetizer. Small chance of infection.
