The Crisacat is a desert cat-like crizline appearing in Pikmin: The Continents. They hunt small prey such as Desert Cradweelers, Desert Pikmin, Sand Pikmin, and Camalak calves and can deter predators by using their claws and tail as well as by producing a flash of light. While hunting, they camouflage themselves in the sand and then wait for prey to approach. Crisacats are known for coating themselves in a layer of sand by using the adhesive properties of Camalak spit and then rolling about in sand or being exposed to a sandstorm, making them spiny and heavily resistant to attack. During a sandstorm, they hide in their dens, with their tail exposed to the air to catch sand.
