The Cradweeler is a tiny, beach-dwelling crab-like enemy appearing in Pikmin: The Continents. Preyed upon by Sand Pikmin, and other creatures that have an appetite for them, Cradweelers are adapted to coastal habitats and, unless they are lost, never tread into forests or jungles, where they are likely to be eaten by predators. A Cradweeler's only defense when threatened is snipping at threats with its pincers to deliver a very painful pinch, which can succeed in repelling attackers. Alternatively, it may flee to its underground dwelling.
