The Cloaking Wollywog is an amphituber in Pikmin 4: The World to Free that has the ability to blend in with its surroundings, rendering it almost completely invisible. They are normally found in this cloaked state. When they go to jump on leaders or Pikmin, however, this camouflage effect wears off, revealing the creature's brown, lumpy body. Their Wogpole counterpart is the Flagepole.

- “What a unique creature! It has the ability to blend in with the environment and appear completely invisible. However, when it hops, its colors return and it reveals itself a bit too soon. Their skin became brown, due to roasting in the heat. They also love places with tropical temperatures.”

- “These things sure got the tan to wear the sunglasses that I brought with me. Unfortunately, I can't wear them, since this blurry helmet must be on, making it impossible to see. Hee hee, who knows, I just might put my pair on one and snap a photo. These creatures don't have the personality of a beachgoer although. In fact, they're very jittery.”
