Scientific name Pseudoarachnia armoronia
Family Arachnorb
Attacks Drills Pikmin, produces bombs

The Bombin' Long Legs is a member of the arachnorb family, more specifically a Beady Long Legs that was made into a cyborg and subsequently revived by some scientists that found its corpse. Its erratic movement pattern is similar to the Man-at-Legs', and after walking around for a bit, it will attack by either using its drillbit feet to stab at nearby leaders or Pikmin or opening its abdomen and spitting bombs at them. The bombs explode instantly when they land. The only way to attack it is to deflect its bombs back at it with thrown Rock Pikmin, as it will simply use its drillbit feet to deflect Pikmin thrown directly at itself. Starting when it reaches half-health, it will climb the walls of its arena to spit out bombs from up high, but the strategy otherwise remains the same. The Bombin' Long Legs' scientific name is a combination of that of the Beady Long Legs and Man-at-Legs.

Notes

Olimar's notes

Bombin' Long Legs / Pseudoarachnia armoronia / Arachnorb family. To think that an organic life form could create an explosive hazard seems impossible, but such examples as the Careening Dirigibug and the spindly Bombin' Long Legs make another horrid dream a reality. Not only does this loose cannon of the arachnorb family have to ability to spit bomb rocks out of its carapace from collecting dust and nitrous particles using the hair on its legs, but it comes with a most unusual feature that still baffles me: the drillbit feet. They can fire off the legs and explode on contact, and even regenerate in an instant! When the Bombin' Long Legs is struggling to defeat its opponent, it quickly drills its feet into the walls of the arena and drops bomb rocks from up high, exploding on impact. If I didn't have any Rock Pikmin to deflect this maniac's bomb rocks, I don't think I could even survive by myself trying to run around away from the line of sights this freak has!

Louie's notes

Chop up the legs and cook with peppers to make an explosive fajita. Sour cream is strongly recommended to neutralize the spice, or dive right in for a bombastic bash!
