The Blastfire Beetle is an aggressive beetle enemy in Pikmin: Under Lock and Key that utilizes fire-based attacks. It idly walks around a small area until it is approached by leaders or Pikmin, whereupon it will turn around, open its elytra, and blast several flaming pellets in a spread all at once, catching all but Red Pikmin ablaze on contact. After it fires, its abdomen will be open to attack until it closes again. When damaged, the Blastfire Beetle will slowly run away and close its elytra to knock Pikmin off after a few seconds.
