No, they do not.  This is elaborated upon in the Marching Onward forum, which should be read over alongside anything else in the Project Clean-Up category. So far, only area, cave, treasure, character, and ship articles must follow the "(<game name>)" naming scheme. This is done so games can have content with the same names but be completely different. Enemies, Pikmin, obstacles, hazards, and the rest can be named normally since they're generally going to be the same between iterations. It doesn't matter what you help with in terms of Project Clean-Up, so long as something's being done. There is content that should be prioritized over other, less important content, but I don't care so long as things are being worked on, since it will all ultimately be looked at anyways. Also, we already have a userbox for Mac users. .

Oh, I'd forgotten to mention that, when you're the first person to upload an enemy picture, no matter the game, specifying the game it is from is optional. The same rule applies to enemy icons. If you choose to specify the game's title, its initials go at the beginning of the filename, not the end. Many examples exist if you need reference points. I know Pikipedia's system for those is a bit different, and maybe they should be changed to match, but I digress. If a game's initials are the same as another game's, however, after the game's initials goes the name of the user who made that specific game. You can see examples of that with files starting with "PTT", as Pikmin: Treasure Trove and Pikmin: Treacherous Treasures share the same initials. Also, icons are necessary for many infoboxes now. The icons are used to represent items elsewhere on the wiki using icon, and if you don't have an icon ready, use an appropriate dummy icon instead. That's all for now.

No need to apologize or feel bad, friend. It's not required to help with Project Clean-Up, so don't feel like you're pressured into being part of it. And please don't worry about making mistakes. It's okay if you do, they can make great learning experiences. That goes for everyone here. This wiki is about making Pikmin content, not cleaning up Pikmin content. I completely understand if you just want to work on your projects and nothing more. If you want to know anything or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. We're all friends and equals here, and I'm happy to help you.

Secret
An old fangame that I was working on by the name of Pikmin 4: The Wraith's Revenge. It was an entirely solo project (This was 2018-2019 before I left for a while and came back in late 2020 to reminisce because I learned earlier that Pikmin Fanon was going down only to learn that it wasn't going down and as such nobody was actually around) and as such nobody could actually give me any sort of criticism. It was fundamentally flawed, with such features as the having of 15 different MAIN Pikmin types even without Purple or Winged Pikmin (I didn't really like the Purple's design and both were way OP), every single important item in the game that doesn't give upgrades being a different version of The Key or a random piece of an excavator (based on the short movie Occupational Hazards), and the existence of Rainbow Pikmin. Said Pikmin types were, in order of discovery until after Yellow: Red, White, Rock, Ice, Yellow, Blue, Spike, Glide, Puff, Mystic Puff, Aura, Cobalt, Bomb, Acid, and Snaptrap, as well as Rainbow (as previously stated) and Darkmin. Absolutely Disgusting. Oh, and you literally revisit Formidable Oak. I had just about every page related to P4:tWR that I made deleted. The only survivors were the Silent Glowbelly, Icewater Skeeterskate, Hail Dandelfly, Galvanic Crystasinge (horrible name, I know, but it used to be even worse), and my magnum opus, the one and only, Bug, Myth, and Legend, the Foundation Dweevil. That is the story that you never knew. *cue Desbug outro*
:Almost all of those enemies appear in PWW! :D They're very good concepts, Cyan Piklord, and they all have wonderful names. Well, I renamed most of them, but still.

Bomb rock Pikmin
I'm the one that renamed "Bomb-Rock Pikmin" to "Bomb rock Pikmin". It better suited the name and capitalization that "bomb rock" uses on the wiki. "Bomb rock" is how it is written in Pikmin 3, which is why the name was changed.

Re: Template
I know, I'm working on it. I just don't wanna accidentally delete some kind of important code and break the whole thing without knowing how to undo it.

The President's Name
Rare Flower-based Dye
What is indigo and why does it say that it was the predecessor to EoE? Is it some kind of website you've been using to work on it in the background? It can't be a prequel (It can't be, right?) because there's a Prequel section in every game infobox, so what is it? (If indigo does happen to be a prequel that you've made with none of us the wiser, that would explain why it's been like a month since you've been here, but I doubt it.)

You probably know that the President is called "The President" so why use "President" instead for these two games: Pikmin: Global Breakdown and Pikmin: Ultimate Doom? The grammar just sounds... wrong. And if you're wondering why I brought this up, I'm just such a perfectionist at spelling and grammar. This is all I'm asking: please change "President" to "The President".
Ah, my bad.

And, just another thing...
Contributing to Society
Why doesn't the Contribs special page not have an immediate number of contributions at the top? It really should, it would make it way easier to determine your Rank. Also, maybe depending on the filters you've set up the number would change to reflect the amount of contributions you've made under those specifications?

Even though I'm such a perfectionist and all that, I'll sometimes purposely spell wrong.

I recommend you look at the list of images beginning with PV (indicating my game), because there are already 20 such images that I will be adding to the category after I'm done uploading my 12 images. Hey- i want to adopt Pikmin 4.5 since- why not make it a DLC for PtASB? Like really.

:I am glad you are interested! Now this might be hard, but if you didn't know Wikia had the ability to have "create article boxes" with preloaded templates. ^_^ I guess some of Wikia's ideas are good! SOME. Ok then, I'll think about a plan for these events.

::Yeah, Wikia has a modified version of the MediaWiki software, so that's why they can do that.

::All we have to do is find that code and put it into ours.

:::Aren't you talking about the Createbox/CreateArticle extension, which not only do we already have but is a significant part of the wiki-based-forums? --Yoshord 13:37, 6 April 2011 (EDT)

::::Well, Yoshord, I wouldn't know that, Porple has control of the extensions. And, no it's not because it can't have a preloaded template for the edit box, the forums use a preloaded name, such as creating a forum that is called Hey, my Pikmin Just won't respond, it will generate as Topic:Hey, my Pikmin Just won't respond. But the idea of creating an article via a createbox with the redirect to the preloded template makes it star editing your desired new page, but with the preloaded template's text already in the new article. We have to manually put the forum header on each topic, as no extension for the preloaded templates exist (as far as we know).

:::::Wait... What I thought Peanut meant when he said "create article boxes" was that he wanted to make it so when you click on a red link, a flash "window" pops up over the article with the create an article info. Now it seems he was talking about creating whole new page with preloaded templates, which we have the capability of doing (the forum header is actually automatic). Can you clarify a bit, Peanut?

::::::Vol, I was talking about preloaded templates, but this idea is much more practical and easier! I like your idea more and I think we should use that instead.

:::::::An extension would have to be created to add that capability.

OK, then...

1. I can beat Pikmin 2 in a maximum of 40 days!

2. BEATING THE SNAGRET HOLE WITHOUT BLUE PIKMIN?!!

Did you know it's possible to beat the Snagret Hole without Blue Pikmin?? I found out myself while replaying Pikmin 2.

Sublevel 1: Have your Purple Pikmin ready.

Sublevel 2: Water is here! There are rocks on the edge of the pools; throw your Pikmin there the call them to the other side. The Pikmin will safely carry carcasses/Treasures to the other sides.

Sublevel 3: Two Burrowing Snagrets. If you're doing a zero-death run, this could get tricky... Use Purples.

Sublevel 4: This level is a metallic-themed level, also be wary of the electrical hazards. Be careful!

Sublevel 5: Another metal level, and there's a Antenna Beetle here. It can be a nuisance with your Treasure Gauge and your Pikmin.

Sublevel 6: This level is extremely, extremely, extremely hard!!! You don't have Blue Pikmin, and if you're doing an all-Treasure run with a zero-death run, things will simply breakdown. They will barely cope with each other; at least 30 resets are probably required to do this level perfectly.

Sublevel 7: The Pileated Snagret is here. Purples will be a must here.

3. I've beat the Cave of Pain (Challenge Mode) with over 10,000 points!

Ok, so there's some of my intense skills... And I'm only 11! And I didn't use an Action Replay! Nope!

Thanks, but I'm not as good as some... (i.e. doing the 8-day run.) But thanks anyway!

What? My days are like...800+ days *sob*, but my Blue Pikmin population is in the ...should i say... 2000s!? actually, all my Pikmin Populations are 1000+. from Cheepy-Cheepy

Hehe... My Red, Yellow and Blue Pikmin Population are all above 9,000 (TRUE!), and I have exactly 1,000 Purple Pikmin and 500 Whites (ALSO TRUE!), totaling around 29,000 (YAY!). Also my Poko count is expected to go up from 53,000 to 60,000 all in a SINGLE day! I can also beat the Titan Dweevil in 5 minutes without losing any Pikmin! (it's pretty fun, actually)

Holy crap! You ARE awesome at Pikmin 2! And I thought I had the most Pikmin! Well, your can considered the Pikmin King from now on, I guess! From Cheepy-Cheepy

:Goodness sakes, I don't want to be called "Pikmin King" because I don't want other users here reading this getting jealous and saying that I'm stupid and all that other stuff...

Well, only Sir Pikmin and I can give out the Master Flower ranks, so we'll be the judge of that.

Mmmmm... It only said that for the AllRanks Rank. I don't remember it saying that. Perhaps you should edit that page so people don't get in trouble in the future...

Yeah, I'm actually pretty sure that the All Ranks is the one you guys give out, not the Master Flower rank. If not we should probably change the page accordingly, like PikFan said.

:Well, Vol, there's solid evidence that they give out the All Ranks, however it says nothing for the Master Flower. Yet again, I think that we should continue the discussion at the actual talk page. I don't see anything wrong with that, do you, Vol?

The Return
How long has it been since I've been here :( to tell you the truth, I've been playing Pokemon White for quite a lot of time these days. Plus, I've had to prepare for my final exams. I had free time, and a good amount of it, but I really should've paid more attention to this site. I want to have another look at Ulimate Doom, I have been planning more for Secret of the Earth as well as walkthroughs for the rest of the dungeons in my more complete PSI game.

It's actually the first Pokemon game that I seriously played and finished (besides Mystery Dungeon 2, but that doesn't really count I don't think.)

Alright, we can start, but first you've got to make at least show me the dungeons of each area, like you've done with the first three. I see the game's world as the first thing to focus on, and then we find out what goes where. Like, getting the box first and then putting stuff in it (stupid analogy but that's how I think of it) Whenever you've got the chance, please try to make that happen. The next week, I have finals and I do have to study this weekend, but if you could do this it will help me get stuff done on the game afterwards.

Peanut, Cheepy-Cheepy suggested that we set up a club here on this wiki, he calls it "Spritist's team" or something along those lines. Anyways, I wanted to ask you, I really don't want to get into trouble.

It's fine.

'K, I'll let Cheepy-Cheepy know. Oh and I see Portal-Kombat has also returned! And yet I'm a bit nervous to introduce myself to him.. Oh it doesn't matter. But I should be nice, like I have been to you guys.

Really nice going on the new areas! The dungeons should be fun to work out. I'm guessing that the Antimatter Well is both the last area/dungeon, right?

If you have a look at my User Page, I have a list of all the Pikmin appearing in Ultimate Doom. I think I remember at some point we were going to have a whole ton of Pikmin types in the game. Are we still going with that idea? I can't tell because you've mentioned five Pikmin types in the area descriptions, which is like 1/3 of the massive stockpile of Pikmin on my page. We don't have to use all of them, I guess it's up to you which ones you want to stick with. Thanks!

Hmm... you mean more than the seven areas you already have? I guess that means you are planning on using all the Pikmin, then.

Wow, your work looks extraordinary! Incredible work so far! I can't wait to see more (oh, and something I want to tell you: in the early stages of development for PCW, the battles were different and there were exps but I removed it because it felt too complicated. But maybe that'll be in another game). I'm planning on having natural disasters in my next game 'cause I think the effects would be awesome. It would vastly change the gameplay, like briefly closing off sections of areas or entire area and opening up new ones.

Thanks, I try my best!

Keep going!!

Honestly the only console I really think PUD would work on is PC and Mac OS X, but I don't get to take away from the Wii or Ubertec, or the buildup trilogy would be messed up, so no. Sorry.

Soo.. What you're saying is if one console disappeared from PUD then the Buildup Trilogy would be messed up? Weird... Never mind, then!

Hey, Peanut, am eligible for Master Flower Rank?

----

{{Peanut64|It's not just about the areas. One must have very vivid detail with hardly any grammar mistakes. Also, we already have a userbox for Mac users. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy .

~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy

~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy

*cue Desbug outro* I'm MintyMoron64 icon.pngMintyMoron64, and I like the Foundation Dweevil!

Almost all of those enemies appear in PWW! :D They're very good concepts, Cyan Piklord, and they all have wonderful names. Well, I renamed most of them, but still. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy

~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy

Re:Thanks

You're welcome! Always happy to help. Currently taking a little break right now to do other things, so I'll have the last two Pikmin images fixed soon. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy

Discord

I do! I'll add you right now. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy

...Nevermind. Did you paste your Discord tag correctly? It says no user by that name exists. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy

i like the new icon for the wiki – I'm GrandGreenie.png Captenluigi2, and you can now play as Mario!

Thank you so, so much! ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy

Re: Template

I know, I'm working on it. I just don't wanna accidentally delete some kind of important code and break the whole thing without knowing how to undo it.

Rare Flower-based Dye

What is indigo and why does it say that it was the predecessor to EoE? Is it some kind of website you've been using to work on it in the background? It can't be a prequel (It can't be, right?) because there's a Prequel section in every game infobox, so what is it? (If indigo does happen to be a prequel that you've made with none of us the wiser, that would explain why it's been like a month since you've been here, but I doubt it.) Ah, my bad. I'm MintyMoron64 icon.pngMintyMoron64, and I like the Foundation Dweevil!

Contributing to Society

Why doesn't the Contribs special page not have an immediate number of contributions at the top? It really should, it would make it way easier to determine your Rank. Also, maybe depending on the filters you've set up the number would change to reflect the amount of contributions you've made under those specifications? I'm MintyMoron64 icon.pngMintyMoron64, and I like the Foundation Dweevil!

That's a mediawiki thing, I'd have to ask Fumple about that. I'll let you know. ZoadraZoadra icon.pngAdmin, Bureaucrat 16:52, 25 November 2021 (UTC)

Re:Frigid Bulblax

The reason I uploaded that new frigid Bulblax file is because the boss will make a return in another game and it will be in a new form ~ Salem

Re:Help:Preferences

Okay fine, it was a mistake, because when MediaWiki had more information about preferences, I just thought I should delete ours and add a summary and provide a link to theirs. So I guess I completely forgot about recycling content instead of deleting it. Sorry... Jody (talk) 17:32, 28 May 2022 (UTC)

Yeah, sorry. Just changing my signature. Jody (talk) 19:14, 4 August 2022 (UTC)

The Phantom's Return

Welcome back, Wraith! I'm glad to see you return to the site. I'll be honest, I myself need to get back on here too. I haven't actually done much of anything for a bit.. I'm MintyMoron64 icon.pngMintyMoron64, and I like the Foundation Dweevil!

Re: Hey

There's really not much to do beyond cleaning up the fanon game articles and location articles, and whatever tasks there may be pertaining to Project Clean-Up. I have pretty much everything else handled. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy  14:07, 13 June 2023 (UTC)

Re: A Warm Welcome Back

Hey, thanks for the welcome back! Happy to help in any way I can! :) ~PikFan23 (Admin) 04:04, 11 September 2023 (UTC)

Re:Hey

Hello Wraith, I'm just as happy to be here myself! I came to this wiki in response to Pikmin 3 Deluxe, and I've enjoyed my time since! You've been around for much longer than me, however. You must have good stories to tell! --CarrotStilts1 (talk) 03:35, 12 September 2023 (UTC)

Re: Pikmin V Image Category deletion

I recommend you look at the list of images beginning with PV (indicating my game), because there are already 20 such images that I will be adding to the category after I'm done uploading my 12 images. Heck, you can find 10 just in this one section of the Pikmin V page. En Passant 04:00, 12 September 2023 (UTC)

Is there a citation for that in the wiki policy? I checked PikminFanon:File guidelines and found nothing of the sort, even in the Categorization subsection. En Passant 04:25, 12 September 2023 (UTC)

I noticed that Pikmin Fanon Ultra Racing has some cool karts in it. can some of mine be in it too? IRL Red Pikmin-RedPikmin95

Adopting Pikmin 4.5

Hey- i want to adopt Pikmin 4.5 since- why not make it a DLC for PtASB? Like really. ~ Swordsmachine(Gaming)
