The Thundertooth Lanchoot is a large enemy that travels across the area searching for prey. The most noticeable feature of this beast is its impressive dentition, which it can fire out of its mouth like heat-seeking missiles. From here, the teeth will lazily home in on any nearby targets and will explode in a fiery burst after some time. While the flying teeth are not great at steering, Pikmin caught in their path will get impaled and will be helpless to escape the ensuing explosion. A Thundertooth Lanchoot takes some time to regenerate its teeth once it has fired them, however; its projectiles can also get stuck in the sides of walls, where they will remain until exploding. Luring the teeth into jamming themselves into a wall early on will open up a significant amount of time to attack this beast.
