Thicket of Nourishment is the second area in Pikmin: Shipwrecked Stargazers. The crew are first sent here by a renegade Venowraith after exploring Humpback Heights at Creature's Quay. With the Hocotate ship losing its main body, the crew have to make due and construct a new floating base called the Lumberlift out of a section of a tree. The Thicket of Nourishment is a forested area with mild remaints of human civilization, such as a ruined house. It is inspired by the Awakening Wood in Pikmin 2. Some features include a river with lily pads and a few subterranean systems where Rock Pikmin can be found. A cliff area is also in this region, from which a ruined municipal city can be overlooked. This area is explored in the Challenge Mode stage Calamity Capitol. Purple Pikmin can also be found in one of the area's caves.
