The Snowy Long Legs is a boss arachnorb appearing in Pikmin: Connection of the Worlds. It physically and behaviorally resembles a Beady Long Legs but is blue in color and is much more aggressive. As its name implies, the Snowy Long Legs is an arctic arachnorb, and so can use ice-based attacks, which Cyan Pikmin can resist. After taking a fair amount of damage, it opens its body as if it died, but will release liquid nitrogen, freezing all Pikmin but Cyan Pikmin and making the ground below it slippery. It can also jump, causing icicles to fall upon it landing. When below half-health, it goes into a rage and stomps more violently; it also jumps more often. The Snowy Long Legs' weak point is the same as most arachnorbs': its orb-like body. However, as it frequently uses ice-based attacks, Cyan Pikmin are a wise choice for this battle. Yellow Pikmin, while not being resistant to the attacks, can be thrown higher and will be able to reach its body easier. When it begins to rage for the second half of the battle, use a small group of Cyan Pikmin and attack quickly.

A Snowy Long Legs is the boss of the Icicle Abyss, and it will release the Treasure Gauge upon death, a must-have tool for finding treasure. Another Snowy Long Legs hides somewhere in the Rugged Tundra.
