The Seeding Chrysanthemum is a mutated form of the Creeping Chrysanthemum. It lacks a proper mouth, and so it is unable to eat Pikmin. It can crush them, however. The Seeding Chrysanthemum can also summon Burrowing Chrysanthemum Beetles, which emerge from the ground around the creature and attack nearby leaders and Pikmin. The Seeding Chrysanthemum only appears aboveground, disguised as two small flowers that have bright yellow petals and are slightly facing away from one another.

In Pikmin: Redemption

In Pikmin: Redemption, can crush Pikmin but cannot summon enemies.

Instead, it calls [[Burrowing Chrysanthemum Beetle]]s to attack you. This is the only time you find the flower bugs.  This creature only appears above ground. In [[Pikmin:Redemption]], it can harm you by smooshing Pikmin under its body, and it cant call for help.
