It strongly resembles a [[Creeping Chrysanthemum]] but with a blue body and pink head. This type of chrysanthemum will screech at [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]], knocking them over. Its screech is significantly weaker than that of a [[Screeching Blowhog]] and sounds more like nails on a chalkboard. After screeching, a Screeching Chrysanthemum will approach and attempt to devour any Pikmin it may have knocked over. Like the Creeping Chrysanthemum, if it misses, it will smack itself and fall over, presenting an opportunity to attack.
