The Sand Dweevil is a type of dweevil that appears in Pikmin: The After Years. It is a dark yellow dweevil with dark yellow eyes. It acts similarly to most other lesser dweevils, as it can pick up treasures and may run away from threats. The Sand Dweevil can create a cloud of sand that suffocates all Pikmin in it. Since no Pikmin are immune to sand, they will all suffocate from it, but they can be whistled to to save them.
Strategy
The Sand Dweevil has the potential to endanger the lives of any Pikmin around it, but Purple Pikmin can easily stun it. Using leaders to take out the small creature may be wise since its signature attack does not affect them.
