Royal Bulborbs are pets of the Royal Wraith. It first appeared in Pikmin: The Winds of Light.
Appearance
A royal bulborb is a purple bulborb wearing a crown behind its eyestalks.

- There are two of them, sleeping on both sides of the passageway.

- In the arena, 4 appear in Round 1, 2 in Round 2, 10 in Round 4, and 2 in Round 5.

Strategy
Treat it like a normal Bulborb, just be careful, as the crown can impale Pikmin.

The Royal Bulborb, despite what some scientists think, is not a simple Red Bulborb recolored by a non-natural source. As a matter of fact, these Bulborbs were originally purple Bulborbs, but the species has been completely captured by the Royal Wraith.
