Romantic Phlegmooches always appear in groups and behave similarly to Anode Beetles. They slowly wander around and occasionally stop to link up in pairs, but instead of generating electricity, the two creatures meet their sticky tongues and begin to pull themselves into each other, locking together in a kiss. Pikmin that touch these enemies' tongues will get stuck and will get eaten once the two Romantic Phlegmooches attach, so they must be maneuvered around carefully. A lone Romantic Phlegmooch is much less dangerous, but can still eat Pikmin that directly touch its large mouth, so these enemies must be attacked from the back or sides to safely defeat them.
