Queen Dewsucker
Template:Infobox Enemy The Queen Dewsucker is the female counterpart to the Male Dewsucker, and a boss within Pikmin Z. The body mainly consists of a round core, three sets of insect-like wings right behind the head, and a long needle-like proboscis.

The Queen Dewsucker is the leader to all the Male Dewsuckers in her hive. Younger females leave the hive to start their own hives while males remain to aid the queen. The Queen Dewsucker will summon them after you time to time, but after getting hit it'll try to stab your party with her long proboscis.

The Queen Dewsucker is the apparent female variant of Dewsucker. She may be able to fly, but it seems most of the work is done by her workers to get her food, so it's unclear as to why she has a proboscis and the males don't. It would be easier for the males to retrieve the nectar that way.
Strategy
At the beginning of the fight, the Queen Dewsucker isn't able to get hit due to her flying above the arena, just out of reach. To get her down, you can either hit her with Yellow Pikmin, or wait until she attempts to skewer your Pikmin. Throwing enough Pikmin onto her will ground her for a bit, but she will shake them off after a bit, and summon her minions to protect her while she heals herself.
- The amount of health she gains depends on how long her male Dewsucker minions hold you back. The sooner you destroy them, the less health she regains.
Continue this process until she falls in defeat.
