This species of Blowhog was first discovered in Pikmin:The After Years. It looks exactly like its cousins, but it has a purple snout, purple eyes and a purple tint in its skin tone as opposed to a blue tint for the other ground-based blowhogs. It attacks by blowing a stream of poison.
How to Kill
White Pikmin are your main choice, due to their immunity to poison. Purple Pikmin can also be effective because of their stunning ability, however.
