Newborn Blowhogs are tiny, baby blowhogs in Pikmin: Connection of the Worlds given birth to by giant blowhogs called Giga Blowhogs, the only known kind being the Giga Watery Blowhog. A Newborn Blowhog looks like most other land-based blowhog, except for it being the size of a dwarf bulborb, and its gray-tipped trunk. Solitary Newborn Blowhogs blow air to push Pikmin back, and also charge into them to knock them over and depetal them, and sometimes even crush some they trample over. Since many are birthed at once, they often attack as a group. Newborn Blowhogs become much more dangerous when sprayed with radiation. Different kinds of radiation can cause it to use different elemental abilities and cause the end of its trunk to change color; for example, if it's sprayed with red radiation, it can use fire, or if it's sprayed with blue radiation, it will be able to use water. Newborn Blowhogs can be killed in the same manner as a full-grown land-based blowhog. In numbers, however, Purple Pikmin are useful as they can stun an entire group of them; if Purple Pikmin aren't available, throw Pikmin onto the creatures until they are defeated.
