Indigo Pikmin are the second-to-last or last Pikmin found in Pikmin: Before the Impact depending on if Teal Pikmin are discovered by then. Indigo Pikmin are found in Bulblax Bog, and like their Purple Pikmin descendants they have the strength and weight of ten Pikmin and can stun and kill enemies easily, though they are very slow. Indigo Pikmin are blue-violet and have a dark green leaf on their heads, which can be replaced by a pink bud or flower depending on their maturity. Under the command of Brandon, Indigo Pikmin move faster and can be thrown higher but do not become any stronger. Indigo Pikmin are very lazy and constantly hungry, and when being thrown, they don't make an effort to attack unless the enemy is still alive.

Indigo Pikmin are Pikmin originating from Pikmin: Before the Sequel. They are the only pikmin types to lack a skeleton structure and instead are made out of a geletin like structure. They are immune to Acid due to being immune to corrosive materials. Since they lack a spine they can also compress themselves into small crevices to find items such as treasure and bomb rocks. When attacking an enemy there slimey material allows them to cause enemies to trip and fall leaving them vulnerable to further attacks.
