Members
Pearl Sparrowhead
- Main article: Pearl Sparrowhead
Pearl Sparrowheads resemble doves and are docile creatures, retaliating when attacked. They generally ignore Pikmin and leaders unless attacked, fleeing when they are approached closely enough.
Scornet
- Main article: Scornet
Scornets are a combination of a bee and hummingbird, resembling fuzzy, cone-shaped bees with bulging blue eyes and large golden feathers. When not commanded by a Scornet Maestro, they aimlessly fly around in swarms. If any Pikmin are spotted, they form an arrow shape with their facial stingers erect and charge. Pikmin who are caught must be saved before the Scornets kill them.
Scornet Guard
- Main article: Scornet Guard
The Scornet Guard is a special variety of scornet that is almost entirely protected by armor. Only its backside is vulnerable, and the creature is often quickly taken down.
Scornet Maestro
- Main article: Scornet Maestro
The Scornet Maestro is the queen of a large Scornet colony. It looks like a large Scornet with a long beak, red eyes with yellow sclera, arms that end in furry hands, and a small, bushy tail. The Scornet Maestro strums string-like teeth in its mouth like a harp to command its colony to arrange in different offensive formations. The Scornet Maestro is only vulnerable when its Scornets fly away after an attack.
Shady Sparrowhead
- Main article: Shady Sparrowhead
The Shady Sparrowhead resembles a crow and is one of the larger types of sparrowhead. It is openly hostile and wastes no time in attacking its prey, signaling its attack with a characteristic caw.
Sparrowhead
- Main article: Sparrowhead
Sparrowheads are small creatures that usually travel in groups of at least two. They have a yellow, orange-dotted body, and a small pointy beak. When approached, they linger in place to face a Pikmin or leader, and after a few seconds, swoop down the for the kill. This pause leaves them vulnerable, and they can be taken down with minimal effort.
Swooping Sparrowjead
- Main article: Swooping Sparrowhead
Swooping Sparrowheads look similar to their single-winged cousins. Their behavior resembles that of the real-world shrike: it hovers over its target, and then grabs its prey with its beak, flying out of reach to eat its capture. It is sometimes caught by Flytrap Chrysanthemums, its main predator.
Tropical Sparrowhead
- Main article: Tropical Sparrowhead
The Tropical Sparrowhead is a native to the rainforest island on Creature's Quay. They resemble the humble Sparrowhead, but with a black body. Their beaks and eyes are purple, and they have green, mask like markings with yellow outlines. They have tail feathers that branch out into many pairs with red, blue and orange markings. They are based off of birds-of-paradise, with defense methods similar to giant petrels.
Twilight Scornet
- Main article: Twilight Scornet
The Twilight Scornet is much like the Scornet, but is purplish-pink in color.
Venomous Scornet
- Main article: Venomous Scornet
Venomous Scornets are, as their name would imply, Scornets that poison those it stings. Besides this, they behave the same as ordinary Scornets and are sometimes found in swarms of them.
