Caustic Gnashlot

The Caustic Gnashlot is a rare acid-wielding Gnashlot species. This bulborb-sized enemy lies flat on the ground until Pikmin approach, where it will give chase and try to eat them. Attacks on it from above are fruitless because it secretes a powerful acid from most of its body which kills Pikmin very quickly.
Foamback Gnashlot

The Foamback Gnashlot is covered in a soapy substance that causes Pikmin that attempt to attack it from behind to start drowning, so Blue Pikmin are the recommended choice when fighting it; otherwise, Pikmin must be thrown at its face, which puts them at risk of being gobbled up in the beast's maw. The Foamback Gnashlot is blind, but will eagerly rush over to the nearest sound it hears.
