Gateway Spring is the first underground area in Pikmin 3DS. Entering the area requires defeating two Red Bulborbs that block the white gate, the only known entrance into the area. The area mainly consists of Yellow Pikmin, making the known for being unthreatening in terms of enemies and obstacles, and making it easily possible to collect the treasures.
