Area Summary
Furnace Desert is the third location unlocked in Pikmin: Rediscovery. As the name suggests, it is a scorching desert full of withered plants, cacti and sand. Many portions of this area deal with a different hazard, whether you need fire-resistant, shock-resistant or even LAVA-resistant Pikmin. In addition to all the hazards, this area holds the greatest amount of new enemies in the entire game, though most may seem familiar. Blue Pikmin and Carmine Pikmin are found here, both extremely useful to getting a good bit of the 20 fruits also found here.
