Furnace Desert is the third area unlocked in Pikmin: Rediscovery. As the name suggests, it is a scorching desert full of withered plants, cacti, and sand. Many portions of this area deal with different hazards, whether you need fire-resistant, shock-resistant, or even lava-resistant Pikmin. In addition to all the hazards, this area holds the greatest amount of new enemies in the entire game, although most may seem familiar. Blue Pikmin and Carmine Pikmin are found here, both extremely useful for getting a good bit of the 20 fruits also found here.
