What is the difference between fanmade ideas and hacks and fangames? – Preceding unsigned comment added by MarioGuy (talk • contribs)
- Basically, a hack or fangame is playable, while a fanmade idea or fanon game is just an idea. For example, Pikmin 251 is a hack or fangame, because it is a real game that is playable with a console or emulator. Meanwhile, Pikmin: Wide World is a fanon game or fanmade idea, not being playable and only being theoretical. – A Friendly Amprat (Talk | Contribs | Projects)
